Vaccination in Pregnancy: Masterclass for Health Professionals
The NHS England Maternity and Neonatal Programme will be hosting a masterclass for midwives, obstetricians, and all NHS professionals providing care to pregnant women, to give best practice advice on vaccination, based on the best available evidence.
Join Kate Brintworth (Chief Midwifery Officer for England) and Professor Donald Peebles (National Clinical Director for Maternity) and hear from national experts on the risks of common infections including respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), pertussis and flu; the science behind vaccination and vaccine safety; and what professionals can do to safeguard women, parents and babies, including guidance on dealing with challenging vaccination conversations. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to raise questions and concerns in a Q&A.
Registrations will close on Monday 19 August 2024 and links to access the webinar shared with all participants Tuesday 20 August 2024
