Harrow
Harrow is a vibrant and diverse borough, home to approximately 275,000 residents who rely on their local GP practices for everyday care.
Across the area, 32 General Practices and five Primary Care Networks (PCNs) work together to support the health and wellbeing of our community.
Primary Care is central to Harrow’s strategic ambition: delivering comprehensive population coverage, reducing health inequalities, and ensuring equitable access to services.
Our mission is simple: to make sure every resident receives timely, appropriate, and high‑quality care.
The Harrow team has remained a stable and highly committed group since 2014, led by long standing Leads who are well recognised across local Practices and community partners. Over this period, the team has successfully recruited and integrated GP and Nurse Leads, delivered regular Educational Masterclasses, and pioneered wellbeing initiatives that have shaped wider practice. These efforts are complemented by annual clinical updates and ongoing GP training, reinforcing a strong culture of continuous professional development.
The team maintains robust multi‑professional engagement and supports a thriving community of roles across the system, ensuring Primary Care in Harrow remains collaborative, resilient, and forward‑looking.
