Programme Information
The Project Management Degree Apprenticeship combines academic study with practical workplace experience over three years. The programme develops capability in planning, risk, leadership, and strategic delivery. Aligned with Association for Project Management standards and assessed through an End-Point Assessment, it prepares graduates to lead projects effectively and deliver successful outcomes across a range of industries.
The Mary Seacole programme is incorporated within the Apprenticeship, giving you a nationally recognised NHS Leadership qualification on top of your BSc and PRINCE2 qualification.

Funding
Apprenticeship Cost: £22,000
- The Apprenticeship Levy will be paid by employers in any sector with a pay bill of more than £3 million per year.
- Smaller employers – those with a total annual pay bill of less than £3 million – pay just 5% of the cost of their apprenticeship training and the Government pays the rest (95%). This applies to learners over the age of 25; learners under the age of 25 are fully funded.
Entry Requirements
- Must be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK
- Must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years on the day of starting their programme
The Project Management apprenticeship has two entry routes:
- Application through A-Levels: CCC or equivalent Level 3 qualification
OR - Application through experience: Applicants will be required to demonstrate previous project management experience. Applicants will be in a role that supports the gathering of evidence required for the Project Management apprenticeship ‘standard’.
- Evidence Level 2 Maths and English through GCSE grade C/4 or above, or equivalent qualifications such as Functional Skills, Key Skills, or Level 2 Numeracy & Literacy
- Individual employers may set additional selection criteria
