- Increase your confidence as an educator or supervisor
- Develop a clearer understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace
- Gain practical tools to support neurodivergent learners and colleagues
- Learn how to implement reasonable, proportionate adjustments in busy primary care settings
- Explore how inclusive practice benefits both learners and patient care
Objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Develop a clearer understanding of neurodivergence, with a particular focus on common patterns and themes associated with dyslexia, ADHD, and autism.
- Reflect on the experiences of neurodivergent trainees and colleagues within the primary care setting.
- Confidently support learners / colleagues with identified neurodivergence, including understanding and implementing appropriate adaptations and adjustments.
This session will be delivered by: Dr Chloe Hillman
Dr Chloe Hillman is a GP Partner based in Chiswick and an experienced GP Trainer. She has been actively involved in medical education in Hounslow for many years and is currently the GP Education Lead for Hounslow. She has also served as Clinical Director for Chiswick PCN for the past four years. Across these roles, Dr Hillman has extensive experience supporting learners and trainees from a wide range of professional backgrounds within primary care.
