Join us to celebrate at the Hammersmith & Fulham Link Worker Forum 24th March 09:30-11:30

An extended Link worker forum on the 24th March, with guest speakers followed by a coffee morning to celebrate Social Prescribing Day which is on the 26th March.

The day provides an opportunity to raise awareness of what social prescribing is, how it works and the ways it helps improve health and wellbeing by connecting people to non-medical support such as community activities, social groups and local services.

We will be joined by theH & F Healthy Homes Helping Hand advice service, which deliver free advice, energy-saving measures, and support with grants and discounts to help residents stay warm, healthy, and reduce their energy costs. Their ‘Green Doctors’ are trained energy advisers who provide home visits and phone consultations. They are delighted to attend and present their offer, whilst answering your questions.

We will also be joined by Mandekh Hussein, who works alongside GP Chad Hockey,( who presented the Key Note speech at our ARRS event at Chelsea FC), in leading the award-winning Health Equity Deep End programme. Mandekh will talk about peer support, communities and professional resilience.

We will round up with a some celebratory cake and tea & coffee and have a moment to celebrate how social prescribing can change lives.

Please confirm your attendance emailing us at the H&F Training Hub for a calendar invite.
