Our vision is:

  • Developing an integrated model whereby there is no distinction between Primary Care services, Community Services, Mental Health Services and DOP (Dentist, Ophthalmologists & Pharmacists).
  • The Brent Training Hub will be the ‘go to’ place for any information about primary care workforce, education and development and we are working towards addressing local needs.
  • The Brent Training Hub and its offerings will be available on the Brent Website and will detail all provision for GPs, Nurses, Practice Managers, HCA, ARRS and Admin. To give every practice and PCN access to Brent Training Hub resources and guidance;
  • To bring together education and training resources from NHS organisations and their academies, community providers as well as local authorities and even NHSE;
  • As the ‘go to’ place we will provide access to a range of information, resources, apps and contacts from national and local networks who can offer practical guidance, support and advice.
  • Run by clinical leaders and managers supported by a network of primary care staff with education and training professionals based both in the community and the Brent Civic Centre.
  • Work closely with Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and the NWL Integrated Care System to support workforce priorities and tackle health inequalities to help meet patient and population demand.
  • We will add scale for efficiency and encourage innovation as well as constantly update provisions.
