Pathology servicesFestive period

In preparation for the festive season, I am writing to inform you of our service provision over this period.

Pathology samples collections  The pathology collection times will remain the same, with the exception of the following dates when there will not be any collections.

Thursday 25 December

Friday 26 December

Thursday 1 January

I would be grateful if you could email me on [email protected] by Friday 19 December should you require any collections over this period.

If a collection is required on one of the public Bank Holidays, these may be chargeable to the practice.

LTBI samples must be received in the laboratory no later than 2pm on 19 December 2025 and then not until week commencing Monday 29 December 2025.

Customer Service

The customer service will be closed over this period with the exception of the following dates and normal services will resume on Monday 5 January 2026.

Monday 22nd ,Tuesday 23rd ,Wednesday 24th December;

Monday 29th ,Tuesday 30th, Wednesday 31st December;

Friday 2 January.

Consumables

Any consumable orders received by 12 noon, Friday 19 December 2025 will not be delivered until week Monday 5 January 2026. Weekly consumable deliveries will not take place week commencing Monday 22 December and 29 December 2025.

Consumables store – additional security features

We are continuing to receive queries regarding email addresses, the authentication code, password resets and blocked access to the site. The additional features added to the site are to improve safety and to deter hackers and malware.

Generic Email Addresses

The consumables store uses multi-factor authentication, which means that in addition to entering a password, a code is sent to the email address associated with the account. While we can update these email addresses upon request, we encourage the use of generic addresses so that anyone can place an order and receive the authentication code.

Strong Passwords

Some accounts are using ‘weak’ passwords. This can lead to your access being automatically blocked due to insufficient password strength. If you request or need a password reset, please do not change the password that is sent to you or revert to a weak password, as this may result in blocked access to the site. Please copy and paste the password into the space provided.

Blocked Access

If you submit incorrect information 5 times you will automatically be blocked from the site. Please wait 15 mins before trying to access again.
