The benefits of movement on our mental health are significant. From improved mood, confidence, sleep, concentration and memory as well as a reduction in anxiety, stress and inflammation.
It’s important to remember that even short bursts of activity are beneficial. As little as 15 minutes of movement a day has been shown to positively impact mental health.
