Invite to a structured Interview for students in H&F who have been on a General Practice placement 10th Dec 14:00

We are contacting students who have been on a GP placement in Hammersmith and Fulham to invite them to a structured interview at 14:00 on 10th December 2025 in the Reynolds Building to talk more about their experience in the practice they were based in. As this is a medical school directed activity, they can be excused from any teaching to attend.

I have also attached an information sheet should they want to read more. If they are able to participate, please ask them to email me ([email protected]) and I will contact them.

Many thanks,

Constance

Information Sheet for Students

The Quality Assurance department are responsible for ensuring the teaching on your course and your experience on your clinical placements is of the highest quality.

This year, we are running a Quality Assurance cycle encompassing GP practices in Hammersmith and Fulham involved in education of Imperial College Medical students. As part of this process, we are conducting a focus group with students who have been on placement or are currently on placement at practices in this area.

During this session, you will complete a short online questionnaire and participate in a focus group, both of which will focus on your experience on your primary care clinical placement.

The focus group is run by teaching fellows working in the Quality Assurance department.

The online questionnaire will be available on Qualtrics, and results will be collected anonymously at the start of the session. This will be followed by the focus group which will be recorded and then transcribed to make your comments anonymous.

During the session, you should not discuss any patient identifiable information.

Your responses will be analysed and used to form part of a report which will be given to GP practices in Hammersmith and Fulham. This is not a research project and is not for publication.

By attending this session, you consent to being part of the above process and agree to maintain the confidentiality of other participants present.
