This is a bespoke course commissioned by the North West London training hub.
The course focuses on providing an introduction in mental health awareness and skills in meeting the needs of patients who present in primary care. This includes an awareness of common mental health problems, addressing inequality and loneliness, mental health assessment skills, crisis intervention and safety planning, commonly prescribed medications, promoting recovery and trauma informed care principles.
